Sedation

Sedation can also be defined as a state of sleep. It is applied to reduce the patient's anxiety before the operation. The medication administered intravenously before the patient is taken to the operating room allows the patient to suppress their excitement and relax. Depending on the dose of the medication, the patient may fall asleep before entering the operating room.
