What is All On Four?
The All-on-four technique has been used for 10 years and has proven scientific success. In the technique, 2 implants are placed at a 30-35 degree angle in the back of the jaws, while the other 2 implants are placed in the front. When the bone melts in the molar region in the lower jaw, the lower jaw nerve (n.alveolaris inferior) passing through here and the maxillary sinuses in the upper jaw prevent implants from being placed in these areas. Advanced surgical techniques are needed to place implants in these areas, which means a treatment period of approximately 1 year and high costs for the patient. The All-on-four technique, on the other hand, gives the patient the chance to have a fixed prosthesis made in front of these anatomical obstacles. In the All-on-four technique, patients have their implants placed in the morning and their temporary fixed prostheses in the evening. After 3-4 months, their permanent main prostheses are made. During this period, patients do not live without teeth at all.
What are the advantages of the All-On-4 treatment?
With All-on-4, the treatment is completed in a short time and it is possible for you to have a healthy appearance quickly. It is more economical than the traditional implant method for patients who are completely toothless or who are likely to be completely toothless. Angled implants prevent damage to anatomical structures by receiving support from the area with better bone quality. All-on-4 treatment is a long-term proven treatment with up to 10 years follow-up in the lower jaw and up to 5 years follow-up in the upper jaw.
